After Taylor discontinued their extremely popular acoustic basses, they found that they had a small stash of the exotic Imbuia wood that sounded so incredible. Not large enough to make more basses, but just big enough for their Grand Auditorium sized guitars. The result is a simply overpowering 12 string designed to be heard the length of a footbal field.
