Since 1973, Wildwood Banjo Co. has been quietly building fine Traditional & Bluegrass banjos in Arcata, California. In spring of 2008, the shop was relocated to Bend, Oregon and continues the tradition of building great banjos. Wildwood Banjos are hand made from the finest figured maples, walnuts, and exotic hardwoods available. Meticulously built by the folks at Wildwood banjos in Bend, Oregon, the Troubador has a laminated block maple rim, a maple neck and an ebony fingerboard. The neck and rim are decorated with a tasteful wood purfling and ivoroid binding and the fingerboard is inlaid with delicate mother of pearl bird and flower designs. With its Tubaphone style tonering, the Troubador produces a warm tone with plenty of volume.
