The Taylor SB-X1 Classic may appear simple at first glance, but awaiting under that subtle cover is a world of tonal options and luxurious playability. The ash body with translucent white finish produces a tone that's bright and clear and the satin finish maple neck with rosewood fingerboard offers lighting fast action. Rounding out the package are a white pearl pickguard, a pair of Style 2 3/4-size humbucker, slightly underwound for more definition and chime, 5-way switch and custom volume and tone control circuit that allows for no loss of high end clarity. Roll the tone all the way off and you get a cool "mid position" wah type of sound.

| The Taylor SB-X2 Standard steps things up a bit from the Classic. Inset figured Tamo ash top on sapele body, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, mother of pearl dot inlay, ebony headstock overlay. In the electronics department the Style 2 full size humbuckers offer more power and punch, 5-way switch, custom volume and tone control circuit. This is an all out rocker! With hard shell case. |
